In 2021, Trias Construction was contracted to build a new single story fire station within the Suncoast Lakes Community in Land O’ Lakes, later dubbed Pasco Fire Station No. 9. This project was the third fire station Trias Construction has done for Pasco County. Station 9 was specially designed with a multi-phase decontamination zone system to reduce firefighters exposure to carcinogens, one of the first fire stations in the state to implement this system.

Other unique features of this building include an extra large 4000 square foot apparatus bay in order to house specialty response units such as Hazmat 9 and Decon 1 , large training rooms for seminars with multiple stations, and an extra space to house additional firefighters as needed. From the outside, the brick veneer with the foldable glass bay doors gives the station a distinct look that is both traditional and modern.
